Brief History

The Regional Science Centre Bhuj is a masterpiece of Architectural Design developed on 10 acres of land with six unique galleries with science based themes – Space Science, Marine Navigation, Energy Science, Nanotechnology, Bonsai, Fields Medal. Galleries are designed to stimulate curiosity and keep learning alive for life. Apart from galleries the centre is equipped with special attractions like Marine Navigation and Submarine Simulator, 3D Theatre, Observatory for Astronomical Exploration, Cafeteria and open courtyards for leisurely retrieval of information.

Ticket charges and other rates :

Regular Days (Tuesday to Friday) - Rs. 20/- per person for regular citizen and Rs. 10/- per student (for schools only)

Weekends and Public Holidays - Rs. 50/- per person for regular citizen and Rs. 20/- per student (for schools only)

Parking charges - Rs. 20/- for car and Rs. 10/- for two wheelers

Free entry for children below 3 years.

By Road

Regional Science Centre is well connected with major cities of Gujarat state such as Rajkot (228 Km), Ahmedabad (328 Km) and Gandhinagar (348 Km) through a road network and 5 kms from Bhuj Bus Stand

The nearest Railway station is 4 kms from Bhuj Railwaystation and it takes about 15 Minutes to reach.

By Air

The nearest Airport is Bhuj, which is well connected to the major cities of the country such as Ahmedabad and Mumbai by regular flights. Bhuj Airport is located at a distance of approximately 6 km from Regional Science Centre and it takes about 10 Minutes to reach.
