Jamnagar
Jamnagar is a city in Gujarat, India, known for its local crafts, including bandhni and metalware. The city is also home to the Gujarat Ayurveda University.
Built in the 17th century by Wazir Meraman Khawa, and one of two remaining city gates of Jamnagar from that period, this decaying landmark has been recently restored to former glory. Upstairs is a gallery due to open with displays on the city’s history.
The gate commemorates Raja Jamraval of Jamnagar.
