Waghai Botanical Gardens

2 km past Waghai, the nearest town, the garden and Bio-Diversity Conservation center have a wide range of native and exotic plant samples from which you can learn to identify plants, learn how they are used for food and medicine, and how much we depend on them. There is a nature education trail which leads you to and from Vansda Park.

Gira Waterfalls

Breathtakingly beautiful around monsoon, these seasonal (only after rains) falls are among the most picturesque sights in the district. Located about 3 km from Waghai town, the Gira waterfall is a 30 m natural drop into the Ambica River. It is open to public and accessible by jeeps on hire.

Don Hill Station

Learn about the rich tribal culture of this region. Visit the Ritambhara Vishva Vidyapeeth and learn about the work of its founder, the highly respected Mrs. Poornima Pakvasa who has worked tirelessly for the empowerment of tribal women for more than five decades. Today, well-known as the 'Didi of Dang', she is more than 90 years old. Also other legendary social activists like Ghelubhai Naik and Chhotubhai Naik have started many programs for the inhabitants of the Dangs at their Ashram at Ahwa.

Girmal Waterfalls

Girmal Waterfall extends to a height of up to 100 feet, making it the highest waterfall of Gujarat. The picturesque beauty of this site makes it popular among visitors and people of the region alike. The water swiftly falls from a great height, creating a fog like condition that’s eye catching.

Purna Wildlife Sanctuary

This green stretch, which is part of Dang’s Forest, was declared a sanctuary in July 1990. It was named Purna, after a river that flows through the forest.
